A quiet celebration of winter’s first bloom with Scotland’s Garden Scheme

Step into the Walled Garden this Winter and discover the delicate beauty of snowdrops at their finest. For one special weekend, the garden opens its gates to welcome visitors to wander, pause, and enjoy one of the most hopeful moments of the gardening year.

Carpets of snowdrops weave through beds and borders, catching the low winter light and marking the gentle transition from winter toward spring. Whether you are a keen gardener, a snowdrop enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful seasonal walk, this is a rare opportunity to experience the garden and grounds at its most subtle and enchanting.

The weekend is in partnership with Scotland’s Garden Scheme and our chosen charity to support is My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Timings: 10am to 4pm on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th February 2026

Food & Drink Offering: Light refreshments

Accessibility: Partial wheelchair access

Dogs: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome

Facilities: Bathroom facilities are available in The Walled Garden
