A Family-Friendly Day on the Farm

Join us on Sunday 7th June for a fun, educational day out at the farm as we celebrate LEAF Open Farm Sunday. Now in our fourth year of hosting, we couldn’t think of a better way to showcase the world of agriculture than by immersing you right in the heart of it. This is a great opportunity for families, friends, and curious minds of all ages to explore the countryside, learn where food comes from, and experience life on a working farm.

Get up close to our large machinery, see it in action, and meet our fantastic team of farmers. Experts from AHDB, RHET, and Mordun will also be joining us, offering fascinating insights into modern farming.

 For 2026, we’re delighted to be working alongside the Rosemains residents, who will be hosting an open studio-style setup throughout the day. You’ll have the chance to explore creative spaces and enjoy a great range of food vendors, offering plenty of options to keep you fuelled as you explore.

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to:

• Meet animals and learn how we care for them

• Discover how crops are grown and harvested

• Take part in hands-on activities and demonstrations

• Enjoy farm walks and tractor trailer rides

• Ask questions and hear directly from the people who farm the land

There will be plenty to keep children entertained, with interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and help them better understand farming and the natural environment.

Whether you’re a regular visitor or it’s your first time on a farm, Open Farm Sunday is all about connecting people with the land, food, and farming in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Dogs: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome

Facilities: Bathroom facilities are available

Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather. Signposted routes will be displayed on the day.

Pricing: £5 per car

Tractor Trailer Tours: £2 per person

Payment will be taken on the day. We accept cash.
